Hi Dennis, my son is mainly a guitar player and lead singer in his own band, but he likes to learn to play all different kinds of instruments as well. .....Drumming is one of his fascinations and he is trying to teach himself how to play all sort of different technics on the drums. He has been battling with a particular technique called "Blast Beat". Is there any particular system that he could use to learn this technique? Or do you know where he could find a source that would show him how to do it? Any guidance or suggestions would be great!! Cualquier sugerencia sera apreciada grandemente. Gracias!!

Hi everybody!! ;D Im in no way an expert on the subject of "blastbeats" im actually trying to learn how to do it myself, im definately not there yet, but im slowly getting there.... there are many different ways to play blastbeats!! I would recommend checking out: www.derekroddy.com or www.sickdrummer.comThese sites holds alot of good info on the subject!! And to Marty: I dont really have any "favorites" when it comes to drums, since i dont have much money or endorsements of any kind!! This means i cant really afford to be too "picky" about my gear!! But if it works... im happy Dennis... Evil Masquerade

Thank you also for giving us the honor of your presence in the forum. It is great to see you here. Your answer to my son's question also answered one to my own self. The boy is going "wild" with his idea of learning how to play drums. ;D ;D Thanks for those links that you provided for him and for your insight. It is very much appreciated!!! Lily
