Hey everyone!I just wanted to tell you about this cool mp3 I got in the mail today. It's the Swedish band Mortalicum that have recorded a cover version of our song Far Away. Check it out on the fan section of the official EM site. evilmasquerade.com/And if you like it, you can leave them a message in their guestbook. I'm sure they'll appreciate it a lot. CHEERS! Me too!!! I checked them out earlier, as soon as I saw Henrik's post about them... I also left them my impression of the recording in their guestbook. I think it was a great version of EM song "Far Away". It was very interesting to hear it in a different style but at the same time keeping the original music. I really liked it very much. :-) I also liked what Patrick Backlund wrote in his introductory page about this recording. This just came to show me that....regarless of what part of the world EM fans are....we all share the very same exact feeling for Henrik Flyman's music, as well for all and every one of the guys at Evil Masquerade. When I listen to all the instruments in the album(s) I am in delight of all and every one of those sounds coming from each of those instruments. A true treat to the soul, indeed!!! Their performance as a group is truly "superb". I am still trying to write my actual and, hopefully, complete review of "Welcome to the Show", because the more I listen to it, the more I realize how much more there is there that I did not capture in the previous spins....It is by far, the most incredible music arrangement and display of mastery (from every angle) that I have ever listen to (Other than the rest of Henrik Flymans's creations, of course). It is the work of a "virtuoso"....For real Henrik....This is not a joke... The way I see all of Evil Masquerade Albums, as well as Zool and Moahni-Moahna, is as if by owning any of them is the equivalent of owning an authentic piece of a "Mona Lisa" I am just fascinated by all of them, and obviously, I am not the only one that feels that way.......Every day, I find more and more people that share that same exact feeling and thought with me. Cheers!! Lily :-)
