Thought it might be a good idea for a thread like this. Sometimes there are polls, recommendations and similar stuff where EM can be given a push in the right direction. I sometimes stumble over such things... and surly you do as well. This thread could be a good place to tell everyone about where to go. The idea struck me when I stumbled over a random Amazon page where our dear Lonewolf told the world about the greatness of WTTS (huge thanx btw ). There are so many metal forums out there that are totally unaware of EM and we need to change this for the better We can't have all those metal lovers living in total darkness any longer. LoL Anyway... CHEERS! //henrik

Hej Henrik....Count on that!!!! I have been navigating through some Forums in the Spanish World. In fact, yesterday I was checking one in Spain from a music band that I met their drummer in the A.C.T Forum. I am planning in joining their Forum and.....be assured on the fact that they will hear about Evil Masquerade. I will also join many other Forums and will give EM as many pushes as I possibly can......And you know "I CAN" ;D Take care, and I will keep you posted on my active campaign. Cheers!!! Lily p.s. Lonewolf is a great Evil Masquerade fan. He has been a very good one for quite some time now. Many cheers to you Lonewolf!!!! Thought it might be a good idea for a thread like this. I really appreciate this. Up until just recently most of our fans were not the most active ones on the www metal forums. I have full understanding for that since I'm not too much of a Forum/Messboard person myself (except for our great EM Forums of course , I guess it's only natural to attract the same kind of people with our music . But it's somewhat disturbing when I hear that EM and Third Act are more or less forgotten as one of the 2006 releases when people are discussing last year's metal contributions to the world. It's nothing that keeps me awake at night, but it certainly makes it more difficult to get on a decent tour. Good thing is I get much more time to write a new album. CHEERS! Henrik PS Yes, Lonewolf is great!!!!! Hej Henrik....Count on that!!!! I have been navigating through some Forums in the Spanish World. Henrik....I think that the people that has had the opportunity to discover Evil Masquerade don't forget it. It is just the other way around. We cannot stop talking about it. You can ask everybody in my home and in my neighborhood... You can see the same thing happening with Stephen, who acquired instant appreciation for your music as soon as he listened to one of your songs. He now wants to wear Evil Masquerade T-Shirt on his college campus to also spread the word. He feels happy with the discovery and is eager to pass it along to others. I think it is all a fact of the other people who still don't know Evil Masquerade to take the time to listen to one of your songs when we recommend those to them and when they give it a chance it does make a difference in their reaction to your music. Because those who have, they have become fans.....It is just a matter of listening to it, and it is a fact that they will love it. I could go on talking about this.....but I am sort of fading now, since I should have been sleeping since several hours ago.....so, I have to say "good night" now, but, just take it as a fact that Evil Masquerade is heading for great success. Your music is just "too good" for that not to happen. Good night....I will be back soon again. Cheers!! Lily I really appreciate this. Okis.....Here is the full translation of the review that you posted earlier....at this site: www.metalforever.net/article4789.html =================================================== EVIL MASQUERADE - Theatrical Madness Group: Evil Masquerade Album: Theatrical Madness Year: 2005 Dist. Label: Frontiers/MasterTrax Theatrical Madness is the second release of this great band. They had a magnificent debut last year which brought "Welcome To The Show" worldwide recognition in the Metal News. In my opinion, it establish itself as one of the 5 best Album release of 2004. My first impression, after listening this second release is a feeling that these people are going for a continuation from the original formula created in "Welcome To The Show". The spunk of the formula freshness is therefore decreased in this second album, "Theatrical Madness", due to the fact that the nolvelty of the concept is not as fresh as it was with the first encounter of this formula, but the quality remains the same. This is the risk that is taken due to the longetivity of a music style. In any case, if the group evolutions one would say that they have sold themselves to commerciality, and in the other hand, if the group continues with their same musical tendencies it will be said that they had gotten stuck and that they are lacking creativity. Therefore, you can listen to these two works of the band as if it was a double and try to see what will the future bring. I think they should look for elements that will magnify the magnificence of their musical prospects that Evil Masquerade has at the present time so that they can become a combo emblem within the scene. Brush strokes from the guitarist with speed such as those of the mid 80's at the styles of FLOTSAM & JETSAM is found in "When Satan Call". Continuity of their previous work in "Theatrical Madness", with reminiscense from QUEEN in the middle of the song. It starts mixing the QUEEN sound with power metal double(bombero???). A very good song. "Bozo The Clown" it reminds you of those first "Royal Hunt" sort of accelerated. "Now When Our Stars Are Fading" is a half tempo with a central chorus in the "estribillo" (repeated verse) of one of those styles that are mostly appreciated by those fans of the hymnic facets from MANOWAR, RHAPSODY, and other admirers of great masses at the concerts. But, it is a fact that Henrik Flyman's guitar work, as in most of the album, is the best of the song. And now, we will come into the heavy metal in "A Great Day To Die" with rhytm caballito ( ?) at the Iron Maden style. "The Demolition Army" is another of those good songs in which the composition and the main guitar performance is outstanding. "Snow White" tied with "Witches Chant" presents a very pretty combination of voices to sort of introduce you into a progressive metal neoclassic of great power, and in this way it tells us a passage from Shakespeare "Macbeth". "Other Ways To Babylon" is the most cut into the 80's that I have noticed in the Album. A fantastic guitar and keyboard work is perceived in this song. It is my favorite. The power metal is perceived in the powerful "The Dark Play", giving way to one of the most interesting Bass passages, very progessive in style. Definitely, it has a very good combination of songs which are in the same line with their first album with their very surprising discography debut. Excellent instrumental and vocal coordination (excellent orchestration???), with special mention in the spotless and powerful neoclassic guitar work. A very high class act that should it continue to improve they will become in one of the best. Lineup: Henrik Brockmann - Vocals Henrik Flyman - Guitar Dennis Buhl - Drums Kasper Gram - Bass
