Bozo The Clown Now When Our Stars Are Fading Witches Chant

mis canciones preferidas sin duda theatrical madness, bozo the clow y the demolition army(Y)

Lily

Hey Marty!Thanx for the nice review of Theatrical Madness. An interesting thing with this particular album is that I think many were very confused about it when it came. It seems like most had expected a Welcome To The Show Part II. That would of course have been the easiest way to do it, but I thought it would have been bad for the band in the long run - because then we would have been forever labeled as "that Danish neoclassical band" and any variation to further albums had never been accepted. Don't get me wrong. I think WTTS is a cool album but I think Evil Masquerade is a whole lot more than what one debut album could fit. So even though I was pretty certain that TM wouldn't be easily accepted when it was released, I was 100% sure it had to be done to shake the first impressions around a little to make it easier for us to be creative in the future as well. And now a year after the release (and with Third Act out as its subsequent album) funny things start happening... Now there's actually people telling me that this is the best album of the 3. I guess we might experience the same with Third Act after # 4 has been out for a while. Anyway... it's always kind of fun seeing what kind of reactions new and old albums bring. The new stuff I'm working on will certainly get some kind of reaction. Good or bad... I don't know, and can only hope. It will be different and it will be Evil Masquerade. Henrik, Marty has asked me to translate his post for you. He wrote his thoughts in Spanish so that he could express them with the purity of his exact feelings. So I will do my very best to mantain that same purity of expression in my translation. Here is what he said: Hi Henrik!! First of all, it is an honor for me to know that you liked my opinion about this album, and it does sound interesting what you said about the fact that in many occassions the bands can be labeled for their previous works, and when they come out with a particular style that is not exactly to that particular influence, but to one of its own style, it is very difficult for the audience to accept it. I suppose that this is exactly what happened when this album came out to the public, but we can certainly be thankful for this album, because it is the one that set the marks for the ways Evil Masquerade is being characterized now..A style ot it owns with all types of different influences. But, in my opinion, all these influences have been added and taken to perfection and transformed into"The Most Beautiful Art" in all the sense of the word. "HARMONY + MELODY= MUSIC". It does not matter what they label the band, what Evil Masquerade creates is MUSIC in every sense....The vocals, the guitar, the keyboard, the bass...Everything fits in a ways that tells: "This was made to be Perfect"....and you accomplished that perfection.!!! I hope I made this translation as close as possible to the meaning Marty put into it. Cheers!! Once again, thanx so much for translating Lily. _____________________________________ Hey Marty!I like your equation. "HARMONY + MELODY= MUSIC"... ...is just how as see it myself. These are the cornerstones to which one can add endless of flavors such as production, arrangement, attitude, performance and more. But in the end what makes a song stand the test of time is historically proven to be exactly what the mathematic demonstration in the beginning explains. You're obviously a very wise man Marty . Thanx so much for the kind words. They are sincerely appreciated. CHEERS! Henrik Henrik, Marty has asked me to translate his post for you.

Thanx a lot Mr P ;D Cool you like those songs. "Other Ways To Babylon" will probably be on most live-sets in the future, so I hope to perform it live for you together with the guys a day not too far away. And... I feel pretty certain that you will get something different (again) and very Evil Masqueradeish when # 4 is released. CHEERS!
